Born in London, England, Ms. Nyack Compton was raised on the Caribbean island of Grenada, where she now practices. She studied in the United States and is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. where she obtained a Juris Doctor's degree (JD) in 1990, and a Masters in International and Comparative Law (LLM) in 1992. Having decided that she intended to also practice in her island home, she completed the equivalent legal certification, the Certificate of Legal Education, at Hugh Wooding Law School of the University of the West Indies, Trinidad in 1993. In the United States she has been admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia and New York. In the Caribbean, she has been admitted to practice in St. Lucia and Grenada. In 2006 she was appointed a Notary Public by the Supreme Court of Grenada. She is a member of the American Bar Association. Prior to her entering Law school she obtained a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Political Science from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She also obtained a Masters Degree in Agribusiness from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas in 2008. Ms. Nyack Compton is a dedicated Attorney who is committed to finding practical solutions to her clients' legal problems.
